Q: What happens if the Glass Tubes are damaged or broken?

A: Firstly, tubes are very strong and not easily broken, but if the worst should happen, solar tubes can be replaced very easily. Your system will still work if only the outer tube is cracked – this is the most probable scenario. Should the complete tube break a new tube must be fitted immediately. This can only be caused by a brick or heavy rock.   They are readily available and will cost in the region of R100 per tube.
